Yeah, I know. I've been using the same URL for 2 years already. It's stuck with me since Sec 1. But to understand why I'm quitting Blogger, you must know why I wanted to start it in the first place.
Firstly, I intended my blog to be a place to advertise and hone my writing skills. I realised I haven't touched my stories in, like, half a year already. Either it's a severe case of writer's block, or I'm losing my flair for writing. In any case, I don't really feel like writing anymore.
Next, my blog was a place where I would express my deep, dark feelings, and maybe some light-hearted ones. It was a place I would go to when life was too tough for me, and I needed somewhere to vent my anger. It has also been the place of one of my first ever misunderstandings and quarrels caused by me alone. Now that I'm a significantly more cheerful person, more mature, I've decided to face every problem I have, and quit ranting in my blog.
This blog kind of represents the memories I have of 1A and 2K. I'm going to leave it here, but it's not going to haunt me 24/7, same as my memories of 2K. I'll miss the class, but when it's time to move on, yeah.
So, it's traditional. Okay, maybe I only ever did this once, but still.
It's dedications time! Each member of 2K will have a message, so no one's going to feel left out. BTW, I'm going by register number, so don't ask me why I'm doing dedications for the girls 1st, okay?
1. Alina: Your temper really changed ever since I knew you at the start of the year, and it's a good thing. Thanks for being a tudi and for handling our E Lit Drama group way better than me, even though you were just supposed to be the assistant director. Good luck. =)
2. Aderline: Thanks for being a classmate and friend, and for the blog full of wordy/emotional/EXCELLENT posts. Your English is good. Lol. =)
3. Denise: BALLZ! I mean, thanks for being a PW mate, even if you didn't help too much or were clueless. =X...kidding. You did a great job. Will always remember how you picked me into your group coz I looked guai, then saboed me into group leader...lol. Good luck next year. =)
4. Lyn: Once again, thanks for working on PW with me. You were an excellent worker, seriously. Will miss Green Strings. LOL. Good luck with the appeal, and remember, God's always there to answer your prayer, even if it doesn't seem clear. =)
5. Dorcas: Thanks for being part of the E Lit Drama, and for enduring the lack of acting roles in E Lit, even if you were fine with it. But seriously, speak up. Good luck, and thanks for the SMS. Sending a message to the whole class can be expensive...=)
6. Christine: You yourself have noticed that you've matured through the year, and we've noticed it too. Good job. Thanks for being our main actress for E Lit, and for being an excellent speaker. Cheer up. =)
7. Rhesa: Thanks for being in the E Lit group, and for helping out in it. And...um...lemme think...yeah, that's about it. Thanks for being a wonderful classmate. =)
8. Zanne: Prefer your Christian name? BTW thanks for being a classmate, and for being the subject of the CDians' jokes during the 1st half of the year. And for joining the Gohs. =X...=)
9. Hilary: Thanks for being the main supporting actress of our E Lit group, and for sitting beside me in class and allowing me to learn how to use my phone without the teacher noticing. =X...=)
10. Chu Hui: Thanks for being so hyper in class, and for showing me how zilian a girl can be. =D... but seriously, your cheerful attitude can make an impact. Good luck next year, I know you'll do better. =)
11. Wei Ling: What do I have to say? I'm still seeing you in CCA. Good luck next year, and thanks for being a classmate. EDWARD CULLEN!!! =)
12. Mei Ting: Thanks for inviting me to your birthday party at the start of the year, and giving me the chance to learn ice-skating. And for always acting so hyper in class. Good luck next year, and don't feel sad, we'll all still see each other. =)
13. Wan Ping: Thanks for being my other tudi, and an understanding one. People say I'm the calm one, but I think you can do a better job than me sometimes. BTW don't give up writing! Good luck next year. =)
14. Zoey: Thanks for being a classmate, even if we only started talking at the end of the year and only because of Wee Liang. When are we going to have a real band meeting? Good luck next year, and always continue honing your talent in music. =)
15. Si Han: Thanks for being a classmate, and for always acting so innocent/blur. Lol. Try not to be too emotional next time, it's not healthy...BTW thanks for the farewell message, and good luck for next year. ZERO!!! =)
16. Joelynn: Thanks for being a classmate, even if I nearly didn't talk to you for the entire year, and for defending Christianity whenever Guan Wen tried to start a riot. =)
17. Jean: Thanks for being a classmate, and for being a hardworking DnT rep. Good luck next year, although perhaps you might not need it. Too zai. =)
And now for the guys...the first one might be long, so be prepared.
18. Wee Liang: Yes, it's the bastard. First of all, try not to be so emo. I don't want to use that much effort and find out you still jumped at 21 after running a marathon, okay? Cheer up, there are more girls who might just like you. Who knows? Next, good job with the medal, even if I have 5 more at home. I mean, 1st prize. Not bad. You'll do NCC proud, okay? Good luck. Finally, if you're going for triple science, take Lit. Join me. =D...kidding. Go wherever you feel you need/your cousin forces you to. Don't worry, I won't miss you. Good luck next year, and maybe you don't want to hear this, but God bless. (BTW, you did an excellent job as main actor of my E Lit Drama.) =)
19. Yi Heng: Ah, Yi Heng. Thanks for attending the student camp and accidentally being placed into our group thanks to a clerical error. BTW thanks for the yoyo tricks, they were entertaining. You were also the first other guy I knew who played MTG, and yeah, you're quite a player. I still can't think of a way to counter that deck...also, thanks for always being so caring for the class, and for doing most of the work for the 2K BBQ. Good luck next year. =)
20. Yi Tai: Yo! Thanks for always being there to act joyful, and generally make the class laugh. I'll never forget your cheerful attitude and how you can always cheer anyone up with your jokes. It's been a fun year with you. Good luck! =)
21. Hao Feng: Yeah, I'll remember you. Thanks for always slacking in class, sleeping/playing PSP/playing handphone games, and still scoring so high. Gives me a reason to hate you. Lol. But yeah, you've been a good friend. Good luck next year, and try not to sleep too often in school. After all, the posture doesn't really help you grow tall...=)
22. Darrel: Hey Phee! Thanks for being the most annoying guy sometimes, but still a great friend. Even though I've known you for like the whole year, you're still too freaking quiet for me to learn much about you. So, good luck, I know you'll excel one day. Keep trying. =)
23. Andrew: Yo brother! Thanks for...wait, that's my name. Next. =)
24. Guan Wen: This is going to sound outragous, but yes, I've enjoyed having you in class. I'm serious. We may not be the best of friends, but still, your jokes and acts do make the class lively. Also, thanks for being my very last Home Ec partner, and for showing me how someone really cooks stuff. Good luck next year, don't cause a riot. =)
25. Joel: Ah Bang! Thanks for sitting behind me and talking to me occasionally. Seriously, you're a nicer guy than you act, just embrace that. You may be rebellious and maybe have a big of an attitude, but give the teachers some slack. They don't really mean too much harm. Good luck next year, don't get yourself killed. =)
26. Jerome: Yo. You're a nice guy to be around, and I'm sure a lot of girls in 2K noticed that. Lol. Thanks for offering to let me join the guys at your house today, but I was busy. Sorry. Thanks for being an excellent classmate, and good luck for the coming year. =)
27. Kai Yuan: Thanks for being our beloved class chairman. You're a sicko sometimes, but still, anything than brings laughter to the class is fine by me. You know you care for the class, and I know it too. Thanks for constantly helping us, taking the scoldings for the class, and basically representing 2K. BTW try not to cheat too much when playing games with your friends. We don't really enjoy that. Thanks. Good luck. =)
28. Ming Yao: Fellow gamer and nerd. Thanks for being my 1st friend in 2K, although sadly we had our different viewpoints. I'll always remember you as the most kaobei gamer in 2K with a twisted code of honour. Don't worry, you're a friend. Good luck next year, get into Triple Science, okay? =)
29. Leonard: Hey! Thanks for being a wonderful classmate, although maybe we didn't talk much. Still, you're a good person and jokester to be around. 2K will remember you. Good luck next year. =)
30. Aaron: Ah Bang! Still remember you from 1A. You don't seem to have changed a single bit...now that I come to think of it, you're actually pretty quiet sometimes. I haven't really got the chance to know you in 2 years...well, good luck next year chicken. You'll make it big. =)
31. Zi Feng: Thanks for attending the student camp with me, and for being an excellent friend. We may have had some quarrels related to our faith in the past, but in the end, it's still the same God we believe in. I'll never forget you for being the most morally upright guy I've ever known in 2K. God bless you, and good luck next year. =)
32. Yi Liang: Ah Bang! Thanks for the dance you did, and for the sick drawings you always drew. Get into Art stream, okay? We need your talent. Oh, and you're the best actor 2K has ever had. Like I said previously, make it big, you have the potential! Good luck! =)
33. Eugene: So, we've been together for the past two years. You've always been a great friend of mine, a wonderful fellow gamer. Thanks for being an actor in my E Lit group, you'll always be remembered by me. So, good luck next year. You're one of the best 2K has ever had, I guess. =)
34. Guan Ze: Hi. Don't worry, I'll remember you as the guailankia who's always there to talk nonsense and basically guailan everyone. You're a good guy, just try to be less sharp next time. BTW, nicely done with the Chinese Chess. You're a pro at it. Good luck! =)
35. Wei Jie: Yo WJ! Thanks for being a fellow pro at E Lit, and for helping with my script with Alina when I got tired of being director-scriptwriter, and decided to pass my half-finished work over. Seriously, ignore the others, you're a talent waiting to shine. I mean, hey, you're the only guy to have exceeded my E Lit score during CA2. That's quite something, in all modesty. Good luck, I know you'll excel! =)
36. Zi Heng: Thanks for being a friend of mine, and for pesevering and working hard on your results. Seriously, you're smarter than I gave you credit for. Just keep working hard. Basketball and kaobei-ing people are not all you're good at, and you know that. Good luck! =)
And so, I guess it's goodbye now. I'll miss 2K. Good luck, and soar like eagles. And maybe one day, just one day, you'll make it big.
Also, goodbye blog. You've been a wonderful companion of mine, but it's time for me to handle life myself. And so, I conclude my last post.
Thank you for everything,
DarnedNoobAndrew
