Expectations

OK, so today was PTC, A.K.A when the forces of the parents and teacher combine. LOL. I don't think of it that way though...
This is a quote from my report slip. It's unbelievable, but true:

Unbelievable yeah? But then, of course, my mother focus on the BAD stuff: I got 38% for my Higher Mother Tongue. Yeah, laugh all you want. I believe I'm the last in school for HCL. T.T
Of course, when I get home to my grandparents, my dear mum goes "Aiya, Ah Drew failed his Chinese." Scoldings follow. And when the Good Work/Praise Report is shown to my grandpa, with a:

Responsible in carrying out assigned duties and responsibilities. Diligent and perservering.

my grandpa goes, "Ah Drew, your Chinese lah, must improve leh..."
It doesn't help that the said Good Work/Praise Report was only given to 4 people. Zzz. I can't be perfect. And I'm getting as close as I can possibly get.
